When David Taylor established Taylor Studwelding Systems Ltd in 1984, his goal was simple: to create a company customers could trust and employees could be proud to work for.

David led the company through international expansion and the brand has been a well-known name throughout the globe for a long time.
The business is still the sole designer and manufacturer of stud welding equipment in the UK, leading the market with deep expertise and investment in innovation and product development.

Taylor Studwelding remains a family-led business, now jointly led by David’s daughter, Heather Cooke, and his grandson, Andrew Gillings, who have taken on the role of Joint Managing Directors.

Having both worked within the company and alongside David, Heather and Andrew share a deep understanding of the values and principles on which the business was built. Their leadership ensures continuity while guiding the company forward for the future.
