i22 Drawn Arc
Stud Welding System

The Drawn Arc i22 stud welding system is the latest addition to the Taylor Studwelding range of British-built drawn arc equipment, specifically developed for heavy-duty applications such as shipbuilding, construction, and infrastructure projects. Designed to weld up to 22mm diameter studs, the DA i22 brings powerful performance in a compact, robust package.

Built to handle challenging environments, the i22 delivers a highly reliable, economic solution for welding Mild Steel and Stainless Steel studs. Its simple, user-friendly interface and durable construction make it ideal for demanding industrial use, while offering fast, accurate results that improve productivity and reduce downtime.

This three-phase 400V inverter system features stepless adjustment of welding current and time, ensuring precise control over every weld. The i22 is microcomputer-controlled with constant current regulation, providing stable performance in both standard and Short Cycle (SC) welding modes.

Lightweight and compact for its class, the i22 is housed in a single, transportable cabinet with integrated fan cooling and IP23 protection, ensuring long-term durability even in harsh conditions. It’s CE and UKCA marked, meeting all required quality and safety standards.

Taylor Studwelding also supply compatible hand tools for use with the DA i22 machine; specifically the DA5 and DA6 hand tools.
