1200 Drawn Arc Stud Welding System
The 1200 E controller is a powerful Drawn Arc stud welding system available for purchase or UK hire directly from Taylor Studwelding. This microcomputer-controlled machine is lightweight, compact, and mounted on four wheels, making it easy to manoeuvre and position to where you require it (the front two wheels also have brakes).
Everything you need can be accessed from one cabinet, which has clearly keyed plugs for earth and gun cables to prevent incorrect usage. As with all our systems, the 1200 E controller undergoes extensive durability tests to ensure it is up to Taylor Studwelding’s demanding standards. The machine is CE and UKCA marked and all components have been soak tested.
When you switch on the 1200 E stud welding system, it will first undergo a self-test to ensure safety standards are met (there is also a gun lift test facility). Then you can adjust welding current and time with a clear visual display. You can use this machine for Drawn Arc (DA) or Short Cycle (SC) stud welding, the latter of which does not require ferrules (if you want to utilise both DA and SC stud welding the DA7-B is the best stud welding gun for the job).
